ROSEMARY SANDLIN ANNOUNCES WRITE-IN CANDIDACY FOR STATE REPRESENTATIVE, 3rd HAMPDEN COUNTY
SANDLIN RUNNING STICKER CAMPAIGN FOR THIRD HAMPDEN
Agawam, MA - Saturday, July 16th - Rosemary Sandlin (D Agawam) is running a sticker campaign to serve the Third Hampden District State Representative seat, an office she previously held from 2007 - 2011.
“My time serving as your State Representative allowed me to help my community including families, veterans, senior citizens, and individuals, by solving problems and bringing much needed funding back to our community. I would be honored to have the privilege of serving our district again and I ask for your write in vote on September 8th,” Sandlin said.
During her previous two terms Sandlin led efforts to secure funds for Soldier On in Agawam, increased funding for Agawam and Southwick schools, and was appointed to serve on 3 committees: Joint Committee on Education, Joint Committee on Transportation, and Tourism, Arts, & Cultural Development Joint Committee.
“Our community needs a strong leader in the State House who is available to their constituents. I pledge to represent my district by working with our community by building partnerships at home and in Boston to improve the quality of life in the Third Hampden District,” Sandlin said.
Saturday July 16th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Rosemary Sandlin will begin her district kick-off announcement tour in Agawam at the town hall. Former State Senator Linda Melconian will give brief remarks and Mayor Richard Cohen will introduce Sandlin. She will then continue on to Southwick town hall at 1:00p.m., then Granville town hall at 2:00 p.m.
The Third Hampden District is comprised of Agawam, Southwick, and Granville.
